V sobotu 29. listopadu proběhne ve spolupráci se Singltrekem pod Smrkem v Klubovně seminář jógy pro cyklisty. Cena je 490 korun za 4 hodiny rozdělené do dvou 90 minutových bloků proložených přestávkou na povídání při čaji ze Srí Lanky.

festkaOd listopadu se v Klubovně konají lekce nejen pro cyklisty. Pravidelná ranní hodinka od 8 do 9 každou středu.  Lekce zahrnuje dechová cvičení, protahování, masáže a základní jogové pozice pro zapamatování a samostatné cvičení po a před vyjížďkami.

I personally feel the need to lengthen my spine and release my neck as it gets tilted backwards a lot and it doesn’t feel natural. It would make much more sense to constantly watch the head tube but that just isn’t possible, is it?

Being a part of Festka team is a great motivation on many levels. Taking care of communication means putting the beauty and style of the bikes we make into words. It also means learning a lot because it is more than just two wheels that spin. Materials, technology, components on one hand and riding rules on the other. Festka is cycling and cycling is an attitude. This page is a consequence of my Festka experience and I am very grateful for it because it opened a whole new field of possibilities. This page is about YOGA FOR CYCLISTS with tips and tricks for better post-ride stretching and pre-ride concentration. It is based on my experience, research and most of all on yoga classes for cyclists that I teach. Festka team does yoga. We started in October 2013 and we keep going. The progress amazes me. When I look at them in downward facing dog and hear them breath, I see yogis. Talking about that, I will take a picture. Come back to check it out.
